Sophie was abandoned at a pet store, tied up in a laundry bag. She is being fostered with several other cats, not an ideal situation for her--she really wants to be an only cat. She is always frightened to come down off her perch, but when she can be alone with her foster mom she loves to play, sit on the couch or lie on the bed, be petted, brushed and combed, and is very loving and sweet--when there are other cats about she is wary and frightened. Sophie is a little overweight because she doesn't run around the house much and would greatly benefit from a place of her own and her own person.
