male neuter, red mackerel tabby, born approximately 2/09.

This wonderfully curious and intelligent young guy was found, hungry and dirty, in an alley in downtown Los Angeles.  A couple took him in, but the woman began sneezing and they put him back outside.  He BROKE through a screen to get back into their apartment!!!

A compassionate gentleman heard of his plight and brought him home to Santa Monica.  Again, allergies played a part and his new home contained one roommate who was allergic.  Felines & Friends got an urgent call and, luckily, we were able to help!

This cat has been so gentle and sweet.  He immediately took to the other cats in our “foster” room and he has not hissed or growled at anyone!  He has tested negative for FIV and Leukemia, has been vaccinated and he has been neutered.

He is extremely personable and friendly… and he loves to talk!  If he’s happy, you’ll hear about it.  If he’s unhappy, you’ll hear about it – only a little louder!    He needs to be placed with another cat, as he would be far too lonely being an “only.”  Dogs do not seem to bother him.
