Kilarni is just about one
year old now. He was given up by his owner when she moved into an apartment
that did now allow pets. His owner did do the responsible thing and contact
Felines & Friends to be sure Kilarni would be cared for, but she told us
that he was a girl! (He obviously had never been to a vet!) She was calling
him "Kililli," which is why we kept a very similar name in dubbing him
Kilarni! He is a great guy -- very smart -- and he would do just fine as an
only cat. Although he gets along with most of the other kitties in his
foster home, there are one or two cat that he just simply does not like! He
seems to like all people and will tolerate dogs. Being a Siamese, he
sometimes has "attitude," but that only adds to his charm! But because of
this, I would not recommend him for very young children. He just knows what
he wants and what he doesn't want -- and if you want him to do something
that he disagrees with, he WILL let you know -- with a swish of his tail --
and if you don't heed -- he will give you a little swat! (He does not use
his claws!) All in all, he is quite charming and really needs someone to
love him.
